Abstract
Aiming to investigate the star velocities distribution function the dependence between the moments of proper motion component in the galactic latitude (µb), of the velocity component in z-coordinate (Z), and of the parallax (π), started by basic stellar statistics equation, - was used. Moments µb up tp the 4-th order were calculated using the corresponding moments of two-dimensional distribution of the proper motions equatorial components (µσ, µδ). The method is applied to the material involving the proper motions of 4027 GC stars. It was concluded that Z-components distribution for all three star groups is symmetrical having a considerable excess. December, 1953
