Abstract
The structure of the cluster NGC2420 is investigated on the basis of the photographic plate obtained by means of 2-meter universal telescope of Tautenburg Observatory (GDR). The counts were made for the stars of 'a' (14.5 mg) and 'b' (14.5-16.20 mg) groups. The results are displayed in fig. 4. The conclusion is made that the cluster has a well expressed nucleus and a very expanded corona.
