Abstract
The oriteria for establishing the metal deficient F-G dwarf type stars are developed by means of a qualitative method. The criteria are compared with those of other authors using the dispersion similar to ours. They are essentially in agreement. The investigation of F-G type stars with the quantitative method showed, That the latter provides the results of higher reliability than the qualitative method does. The F-G type stars with high metal deficiency can confidently be established by the qualitative method.
