Abstract
Some photometric characteristics of R CrB stars are described. The analysis of several last minima of R CrB and RY Sgr showed taht the minimum these stars become bluer and they redden strongly on the ascending branch. From these observations of R CrB and XX Cam it isclear that both stars at light maximum are characterised by semiregular light variations. Apparently these variations are properties of an extensive class of objects including R CrB stars. Continuous observations of R CrB and XX Cam during the single night reveals small light fluctuations of both stars which may be a distinctive feature of R CrB , distinguishing them from the related to them objects.
