Abstract

The problem of the airglow H2 emission spatial distribution is studied. The observational material is obtained in 1964 in the Abastumani observatory with the spectrograph C/7-48. On the basis of reduction of H2 emission absolute intensity to the earth's shadow height (1000 km) it is concluded, that 1 H2 emission intensity is not characterized with seasonal variation and the one shown in fig. 2a is due to variation of the earth's shadow height. 2. H2 emission is different directions is independent upon the ecliptical latitude and elongation. On the basis of fig. 3, 4, 5 and table 3 one can conclude that the distribution of neutral Hydrogen in the upper layers of the atmosphere and corona in sphere-symmetricl as a first approximation.
