Abstract
In 1939 we executed the work on determination of geographical coordinats of the pillar placed between the domes of 16" refractor and the astrograph on the Mount Kanobili. The Poulkovo Observatory was chosen as the initial point, because of its being directly associated with Greenwich and as a point with coordinates of high precision. The stars used to obtain the correction of the correction of the clock were chosen from the catalogue FK3. Observations were conducted by means of Bamberg transit-instrument quipped with a selfrecording micrometer. The latitude was determined by means of the same instruments according to Talcott's method.
