Abstract
The paper deals with the study of the space absorption of light in the area l= 140-190 and b = 0+11 (gal. coord.). Table I represents the description of the photographic material which has been used for this investigation. The results obtained by using a modification of Wolf's method are represented in Fig. Fig. 1, 2 and 3. Some supplementary data and an Analysis of the star proper motions have been used as a check of the results. It is shown that there exists no anomaly in the space absorption in the area l= 140-190 and b = 0+11 responsible for phenomena of the Local System. December, 1939
