Abstract
Convenient nomograms and a sliding–rule are discribed. They are intended for the solution of the different problems connected with the calculation of the interstellar absorption on the basis of the formulae (1) and (2). The latter are transformed into the system (10) convenient for the use of nomograms. The possible variability of the factor transferring selective absorption into the total one is taken into account. Sufficiently complete tables I and II are given. With help of them one could compose the necessary nomograms. This requires to construct two simple curves only. September, 1957
