Abstract

76 photoelectic observaitions of the spectroscopic binary BD+39°811 were obtained. A light variation with the amplitude 0m05 and period 0d9171877 was detected. The analysis of the light curve revealed the effect of the ellipticity of components without the eclipse phenomena, the factor being 0.089. Hence, the star BD+39°811 belongs to the very limited number of ellipsoidal stars. December, 1955
