Abstract
The paper describes natural science and chemistry educational programs and teaching methods in the second half of nineteenth and early twentieth century in Georgia. The author describes teaching approaches of that time. Subject programs of the relevant period are defined and parallels are made with the modern programs. The paper also demonstrates the attitude towards lab practices of the mentioned period. Keywords: History of chemistry, Didactic of chemistry, educational programs, teaching methods.
