Abstract
This paper concerns the contrastive study of the semantic content of the adjectives in French and Georgian languages which is based on the analysis of contemporary literary texts, as well as on data from the language spoken today. Awareness of the similarities and differences that exist between the two non-related languages is important and useful for French language specialists, as well as for translators who are interested in translation of literary texts.
