Abstract
The paronyms are the non-identical lexical items, which have the similar or different meaning. Its specificity appears in the contradiction of form and the expression, to which is added the difficulty of their use in the language. The problem of the similarity of lexical items what is related to their faulty replacement, does not correspond to the normative structure of the language and it makes the cascade of faults. The most considerable and important is the group of paronyms that express proximity in both pronunciation and meaning. The most misleading are the paronyms known as synonymic ones. In the synonymic term we suggest those the lexical meanings of which coincide and are replaced at the same time. But that requires exceptional caution. The synonymic paronyms occupy the central place in the classification of paronyms. They are divided into three subclasses: stylistic paronyms having semantical similarity, partially similar paronyms and semantically and stylistically differentiated. In this research we analyse the types of paronyms, the cases of paraphasia, we study the examples of French and Georgian languages, we define their structural models.
