Abstract
The preceding article deals with etymological study of French and Georgian names of places on the basis of comparison of two languages. The research is carried out through the interdisciplinary aspect. The process of research requires the synthesis of different branches of science, such as geography, history, art, religion and culture that makes studies more interesting. The etymological study of French names of places has showed that they mainly originate from the nouns and the adjectives that are borrowed from the other languages. As for the Georgian names of places, they are based on the forms of adjectives and nouns existing in the Georgian Language.
