Abstract
The present work is devoted to one of the pressing problems in Georgia: in the last years Subutex was not used with medical purposes but rather as a drug of abuse that poses most grave social condition for our country. Unlike the other countries in Georgia Subutex has been used intravenously in combination with bensodiazepines and anti-histaminic drugs. However, abstinence syndrome developed after administration of Subutex via the above mentioned rout has not been described as yet. Our work was iamed at evaluating abstinence state developed after withdrawal of heroin and Subutex. Total of 80 patients were investigated. Forty patients had abstinence after withdrawal of heroin and 40 after withdrawal of Subutex.
