Abstract
The author presents statistical data of using marriage contract in Georgia. He explains the concept of marriage contract and its so very specific features as the party of the contract, inscription of the contract and subject of the contract. Each of these elements he has examined independently. A special chapter of his work is devoted to marriage contract, as being voluntary argument between the parties and the bases of its cancellation. in conclusion the author mentions that in spite of proper legal base, the attitude existing among people to this question and low level of awareness of the issue make completely impossible to use the mentioned institution in casual life.
