Abstract

სტატიაში, ერთი სამონასტრო კომპლექსის, კერძოდ, უბისას წმ. გიორგის სახელობის ეკლესიის დაარსების წინაპირობების ანალიზის მაგალითზე, საუბარია VIII-IX საუკუნეების საქართველოს საზოგადოებრივი და პოლიტიკური ისტორიის საკითხებზე. განხილულია აფხაზთა სამეფოში და ტაო-კლარჯეთის ქართველთა სამეფოში მიმდინარე სამონასტრო ცხოვრების ზოგიერთი საკითხი, რაც მოგვიანო პერიოდში საფუძვლად დაედო ამ ორ ქართულ სამეფოს იდეოლოგიურ-პოლიტიკური რეინტეგრაციას. In this article, the author will discuss issues relating to the social and political history of Georgia in the 8th and 9th centuries, through the analysis of the conditions surrounding the founding of the St. George Church at Ubisa. The discussion will touch on monastic life in the kingdoms of Abkhazia and Tao-Klarjeti, which lead later to the ideological and political reintegration of these two Georgian polities.
