CONCERNING GROUNDLESS CRITICAL REMARKS (Answer to A. Tankiev and I. Sampiev) Two reviews of my book: “The Vainakhs (The Chechens and Ingush)”. The Caucasian House Publishers. Tbilisi, 2001 (In English and Russian languages) are published in the scientific Bulletin of the Ingush State University. The authors of these reviews are A. Tankiev – doctor of philosophical sciences, the head of the chair of philosophy at the Ingush State University and I. Sampiev – a political scientist, candidate of philosophical sciences, the editor in-chief of “The Scientific Bulletin”. As we see, the philosophers began to appreciate the historical work and their reviews are very negative. According to the review of the reviewers my book is of anti-Ingush tendency. As if my purpose is to delude the readers and to thrust “Vainakh” or “constractionistic” ideology on them. At the same time the authors’ striving for utmost delimitation of the Ingush and the Chechens runs through both reviews; as though these neighboring and closerelated peoples had nothing in common in history. In this answer concrete examples are given to show that the critical remarks states in the reviews of Tankiev and Sampiev – are absolutely groundless. It’s obvious that we deal with the tendentious attempt to discredit the book by the opponents, who are without proper schooling.
