Abstract
English as the medium of instruction in monolingual university class-rooms in Georgia has advanced over the past decades. Maia comments on the future of English in Higher Education in a country whose native and official language does not sound or spell like any other existing world language; yet on the other hand, is pursuing membership to the Europe-an Union and NATO.
